Job summary

BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina is seeking a Training Specialist to identify training needs, develop materials, and facilitate training. You will lead a team of trainees, coordinate with management, and deliver blended learning solutions.

This full-time, on-site role at 4101 Percival Road, Columbia, SC 29229-8320 requires 3 years of training experience and a Bachelor's degree; strong project management and adult learning expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; 4 years job-related experience or Associate's + 2 years job-related experience.
• 3 years job-related experience, including 2 years training experience and 1 year insurance-related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads, plans and prioritizes training projects from needs assessments to final products that meet customer specs and deadlines; facilitates technical and non-technical training for employees, partners, external customers, and other audiences.
• Follows project methodology to develop trainee and training performance assessments and testing materials; develops and updates training materials and uses blended learning techniques.
• Identifies developmental needs and provides coaching and train-the-trainer sessions; prepares reports and presentation materials; facilitates training for all management levels.
• Evaluates training trends and programs; maintains training database and related reports and assessments.
