BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina is seeking a Training Specialist to deliver blended learning solutions. You will design and oversee training programs, evaluate outcomes, and work with SMEs to create effective materials. This role emphasizes learner-focused development and ongoing program maintenance.

You will collaborate with Operations and various business units to ensure training aligns with compliance and quality standards, with typical on-site hours and occasional hybrid scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a job related field.
• Degree Equivalency: 4 years job related work experience or Associate's and 2 years job related work experience
• Required Work Experience: 1 year training, insurance, and/or related work experience required.
• Strong verbal and written communication and human relations skills.
• Ability to develop research, planning and data gathering skills.
• Ability to design and develop outputs in various methods.
• Strong organizational skills to schedule, prioritize, and complete work.
• Ability to become an SME for multiple lines of business.
• Able to understand the complex technical environment.
• Understand Adult learning principles and methodologies.
• Ability to deliver training classes to 1–50+ individuals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard office equipment.
• Project management skills.
• Ability to learn corporate systems and required systems.
• Training certification programs within 1 year.

Responsabilités

• Facilitates training for new hires and staff across technical and non-technical areas.
• Designs, develops, and updates training materials and curricula.
• Assesses learner performance and communicates progress to stakeholders.
• Maintains training systems access and performs administrative functions.
