Job summary

RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, is seeking a Test Systems Engineer II for the onsite RTX facility in Tucson. You will collaborate with multiple engineering teams to define, design, and document Test Environment capabilities and requirements, applying Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) practices throughout the product lifecycle.

You will derive detailed capabilities, manage requirements and traceability, and interact with SMEs to resolve issues while promoting reuse of test

Qualifications

Master's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
Systems engineering experience in test requirements development, test planning, test techniques, test methodologies, embedded functional test, and integration, verification, and validation for test.
Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to start date; U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

Apply knowledge of the subsystem and collaborate with other engineering disciplines to develop and implement the subsystem model using MBSE tools and methods.
Detail capabilities and derive requirements.
Communicate test equipment needs and requirements to Test Equipment designers.
Manage requirements and traceability.
Leverage reuse of Test Environment requirements and models to promote efficiency in test design and development.
Develop subsystem requirements, interfaces, behaviors, and architecture.
Interact with Technical SMEs to understand subsystem and resolve issues.
