Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a senior test engineering professional to lead system-level integration, verification, and qualification activities on onsite facilities. This role requires active DoD security clearance and U.S. citizenship, with travel to RTX sites as needed.

You will prepare test plans, coordinate across labs, and drive readiness reviews, working with engineering, program leadership, and customers to ensure safe, compliant test outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Design Verification Testing (DVT) and Qualification Testing (QT).
• Experience leading test efforts from planning through report completion.
• Experience coordinating activities across multiple test labs.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and documentation of system-level integration, DVT, and QT activities.
• Prepare comprehensive test plans, procedures, schedules, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate test execution across onsite labs and customer facilities, ensuring alignment on configuration, schedule, and readiness.
• Organize and lead Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs) for major test events.
• Execute and oversee testing during POD DVT and POM QT phases.
• Collaborate with lab leads, engineering teams, program leadership, and customer counterparts.
• Support anomaly investigation, root cause analysis, corrective action closure, and final test reporting.
• Manage test environment readiness, including hardware, software, instrumentation, and data systems.
