Job summary

RTX’s Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) organization seeks a Test Systems Engineer II to define, design, and document Test Environment capabilities. You will work across engineering teams to ensure subsystem models meet requirements, from components to All‑Up‑Round, promoting robust and efficient test solutions.

The role emphasizes MBSE, requirements management, and collaboration with SMEs to resolve issues and advance test capabilities.

Qualifications

• Master’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• Experience in systems engineering for test requirements, planning, techniques, and validation through product lifecycle.
• Ability to obtain and maintain US security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Apply subsystem knowledge to develop and implement subsystem models using MBSE tools.
• Detail capabilities and derive requirements for test environments.
• Communicate needs to Test Equipment designers and manage requirements traceability.
• Leverage reusable Test Environment requirements/models to improve test design efficiency.
• Develop subsystem requirements, interfaces, behaviors, and architecture.
• Collaborate with Technical SMEs to resolve issues and support subsystem trades.
