Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ seeks a Systems Engineer to support DoD programs on-site. You will work with cross-functional teams to design, integrate, test, and validate complex aerospace systems, ensuring they meet requirements and perform under mission conditions.

You will update requirements, develop CONOPS, verify interfaces, and communicate results to leadership. The role requires an active DoD clearance or the ability to obtain interim clearance and a January 2027 or later start.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in STEM obtained by start date.
• Experience with systems requirements, integration, testing, software, or hardware.
• Active DoD clearance or ability to obtain interim clearance.

Responsibilities

• Update, develop, maintain requirements and CONOPS; define system interfaces.
• Develop test plans and verification docs in simulated and real environments.
• Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems and evaluate functionality.
• Create/modify documentation for TRR, CTS, and TDR packages.
• Perform Platform Integration, Flight Test, Qualification, and design verification.
• Troubleshoot and analyze hardware, software, and system issues via data analysis.
• Document integration plans and communicate results to leadership.
• Conduct data analysis to ensure optimal system performance.
• Present technical findings and solutions to leadership and customers.
• Travel up to 25% to support mission execution.
