Job summary

Hollstadt Consulting is seeking a Telecommunications Support Technician for onsite work in Rochester, MN. This 1-year contract role supports clinical, operational, and IT staff with daily operations of communication devices and lifecycle management.

The position emphasizes teamwork, inventory control, and hands-on troubleshooting of paging and related equipment, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements and asset accountability.

Qualifications

• Requires strong organizational, customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience maintaining records and managing inventory within defined processes.
• Experience using Microsoft Office and asset tracking systems.
• Ability to work in a team and adapt in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, program, configure, test, deploy, maintain, repair, track, and retire paging devices.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and asset accountability.
• Handle device provisioning, inventory control, repair, distribution, shipping, and lifecycle management.
• Process returned devices, perform testing and QA, and prep for redeployment.
• Coordinate shipments to MN, AZ, FL, and WI.
• Monitor inventory levels and asset utilization.
• Support device replacement programs and disposal per policies.
• Troubleshoot hardware, coordinate escalations, and support continuous improvement.
