Job summary

Magnit in Reston, VA is seeking a Technical Support Specialist II to provide onsite hardware deployment, refurbish equipment and troubleshoot desktop issues. You will work with SMEs to resolve client app concerns and support end-to-end hardware/software upgrades, including Day One support.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in deployments, solid PC hardware/software knowledge, and experience with M365 and ticketing systems.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of deployments, user requests, configuration tasks, PC hardware, software and networking issues.
• High School Diploma required; certification preferred.
• Experience with M365 and ticketing systems.
• Proven ability to resolve complex technical issues and security concerns.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and refurbish computers on site and redeploy as needed.
• Troubleshoot desktop hardware, software and networking issues.
• Coordinate with SMEs to resolve concerns for proprietary client applications.
• Assist Project Managers with end-to-end hardware/software upgrades and Day One support.
