Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a TurboTax Local Service Expert to provide on-site tax preparation and advisory services at a local TurboTax location.

You will work with a collaborative team of financial professionals to deliver end-to-end tax solutions and help grow the local client base. This role emphasizes in-person meetings, community outreach, and cross-referrals to connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, and planning resources, ensuring a comprehensive financial picture for year-round support.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including compliance training and cross-training of other products.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit uniforms and be used in advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content and resources for your community.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Act as a community ambassador to grow a local client base and be the local face of TurboTax.
• Connect clients with complementary Intuit services like bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Build long-term relationships and deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
• Assist clients in navigating taxes for life events and business scenarios.
