Job summary

Intuit Careers seeks a TurboTax Local Service Expert to deliver hands-on tax preparation and expert advice at a designated TurboTax location. You will engage with clients in person and virtually, build lasting relationships, and collaborate with specialists to provide end-to-end Intuit solutions.

You will drive local growth, organize community events, and leverage marketing tools to expand the client base while maintaining high service standards and compliance.

Qualifications

• Enrolled Agent, CPA, or attorney with strong tax prep experience.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 tax returns per season.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00–17:00 local time, 20 hours/week min.
• Complete all training and development as required by the business.
• Must wear uniforms and allow use of name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence for TurboTax.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling a range of tax situations.
• Assist with simple to complex tax scenarios including business income, deductions, and amendments.
• Conduct discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and maximize refunds.
• Grow local client base through outreach, events, and partnerships; be the local face of TurboTax.
• Connect clients with comprehensive services such as bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience in-person and via video tools.
• Collaborate with specialists to deliver end-to-end Intuit experience and year-round support.
