Job summary

Intuit Inc. is seeking TurboTax - Retail Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax Retail or Flagship location across the United States, serving in-person customers with tax expertise and personalized service. You will help clients navigate their taxes, prepare returns, and provide advice while growing the local business.

This non-exempt, part-time role requires community engagement, flexibility across weekdays, and a commitment to onboarding new clients with a friendly, professional approach.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience with deep knowledge of tax law preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax‑related content and resources for your community in accordance with Intuit’s policies
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing
• Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform
• Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment

Responsibilities

• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador: Represent TurboTax locally as a trusted community ambassador and attract new clients.
• Provide Tax Expertise: Give hands-on tax advice and complete return preparations for TurboTax customers.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience: Create a positive, professional experience and build lasting client relationships.
• Assist with local marketing and community outreach to grow the TurboTax client base.
