Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax - Retail Experts to assist customers at a local TurboTax Retail or Flagship location. You will prepare tax returns, provide advice, and leverage marketing support to build a thriving client base within the community.

The role emphasizes in-person service, strong tax knowledge, and the ability to connect with clients to foster long-term relationships, with a focus on accurate, personalized tax solutions.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax law preferred.
• Must hold or be able to obtain PTIN to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state Form 1040 returns per season using professional software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be willing to work onsite at a TurboTax location, Sundays-Saturdays, ~20 hours/week.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers, including complex scenarios.
• Conduct discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, maximize refunds, and offer tax planning guidance.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience and help grow the local TurboTax client base.
