Intuit, Inc. in Illinois seeks a TurboTax Local Service Expert to work onsite at a TurboTax location, delivering tax expertise and personalized service to individuals and small businesses.

You’ll handle simple to complex returns, advise on deductions, and connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services within the Intuit ecosystem. You’ll act as a community ambassador, grow local client relationships, and participate in events while using TurboTax tools.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or Tax Attorney with strong tax prep experience
• Active PTIN required to file taxes
• 3+ years of filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season using professional software
• Familiarity with Circular 230
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping/payroll advisory with training provided
• Onsite at a TurboTax office, 20+ hours/week, Mon-Fri

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, incl. simple to complex returns
• Act as a proactive community ambassador to grow local TurboTax client base
• Champion full Intuit ecosystem by linking clients with bookkeeping, payroll, or financial planning services
• Build relationships to convert one-time transactions into long-term clients
• Deliver best-in-class customer experience via in-person and virtual interactions
