Job summary

Intuit seeks a TurboTax Local Service Expert to provide hands-on tax preparation and personalized tax guidance at a local TurboTax location. You will collaborate with a team of specialists and act as the local face of TurboTax, building relationships with clients and driving community growth.

You’ll deliver a full-service tax experience, including complex scenarios, while connecting clients to bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory solutions.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with tax preparation experience
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season using professional tax software
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, 20+ hours/week
• Must complete training and development as required by the business; uniforms required
• Interest in building local/online social presence as a TurboTax Expert
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex returns
• Act as a community ambassador to grow local TurboTax client base and foster loyalty
• Connect clients with additional Intuit services (bookkeeping, payroll, planning) for year-round support
• Build relationships and turn single transactions into long-term client partnerships
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience, guiding clients toward financial goals and using Intuit tools for communication
