Job summary

Intuit seeks dedicated TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States. You will provide in-person tax return preparation, tax advice, and software support while building a local client base and community presence.

The role emphasizes proactive community engagement, personalized tax solutions, and exceptional customer service in a front-facing retail setting. Onsite availability weekly and a professional TurboTax appearance are expected.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience.
• PTIN required to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform.
• Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador representing TurboTax locally and as a public face in the community.
• Engage with new prospects, nurture leads, and convert prospects into long-term clients.
• Lead and participate with TurboTax support in local marketing to make taxes approachable.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for customers, including simple to complex situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and maximize refunds.
• Utilize resources to deliver accurate tax solutions in everyday language.
• Create an exceptional customer experience through professionalism and genuine help.
• Build long-term trust and relationships with clients for ongoing engagement.
• Interact with customers in-person and via Intuit’s video tools.
• Address client inquiries while helping them overcome tax-related challenges.
