Job summary

Intuit is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our TurboTax Retail/Flagship locations as Retail Experts. You will work on-site, serving in-person customers, providing full-service tax preparation, advice, and software support, while helping grow TurboTax’s client base in the local community.

You’ll be part of a collaborative team of tax professionals, delivering personalized tax guidance and building long-term relationships with clients in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax law.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Must possess or obtain state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid tax preparation experience filing 1040s (federal and state) per season.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Onsite, 20+ hours/week at TurboTax location; weekends may be required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete tax return preparation for TurboTax customers, handling simple to complex situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to optimize deductions, minimize liabilities, and plan for future taxes.
• Deliver accurate tax solutions using government resources, professional tools, and team expertise in clear everyday language.
• Create an exceptional customer experience, building trust and turning one-time clients into long-term relationships.
