Job summary

New Era Cap, LLC. is seeking a temporary Associate in Talent Acquisition to provide administrative and operational support within our Buffalo, NY Human Resources team.

This on-site role focuses on candidate experience, interview coordination, onboarding support, and process improvement for recruiting and onboarding activities. You will partner with the TA team and hiring managers, manage scheduling, maintain data in the ATS, process reimbursements, and help ensure a smooth first-day experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant job experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
• 1–3 years of professional experience required; experience in supporting full-cycle recruitment or talent acquisition preferred.
• Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems, scheduling tools, and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter preferred.
• Experience supporting high-volume recruiting environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment processes, including posting jobs, updating data in the ATS, scheduling interviews (virtual and in-person), and communicating status updates with candidates.
• Partner with the Talent Acquisition Team and hiring managers to deliver a positive and efficient candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
• Coordinate logistics and administrative support for the Talent Acquisition Team.
• Assist with onboarding activities, including IT requests, new hire documentation, announcements and gifts, and ensuring a smooth first-day experience.
• Process candidate reimbursements.
• Support continuous improvement of recruiting, onboarding, and candidate experience processes.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive matters.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Respond to general inquiries and escalated issues as needed.
