Job summary

New Era Cap, headquartered in Buffalo, NY, is seeking an Associate in Talent Acquisition for a temporary four‑month assignment. This on‑site role supports the Talent Acquisition team to ensure a seamless candidate experience and smooth onboarding for new hires.

Responsibilities include posting jobs, managing the ATS, scheduling interviews, coordinating onboarding activities, and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or related field preferred; experience in supporting full‑cycle recruitment or talent acquisition preferred.
• Strong computer skills; MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint; ability to learn new systems.
• Preferred knowledge of full‑cycle recruiting principles, sourcing techniques, and interviewing best practices.

• Assist with recruitment processes, including posting jobs, updating data in the ATS, scheduling interviews, and communicating status updates.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition Team and hiring managers to deliver a positive and efficient candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
• Coordinate logistics and administrative support for the Talent Acquisition Team.
• Assist with onboarding activities, including coordinating IT requests, preparing new hire documentation, coordinating new hire announcements and gifts, and ensuring a smooth first‑day experience.
• Process candidate reimbursements.
• Support continuous improvement of recruiting, onboarding, and candidate experience processes.
• Keep all sensitive matters confidential.

This temporary Associate, Talent Acquisition role is a crucial part of New Era’s fast‑paced and growing Human Resources department. The position is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the Talent Acquisition team, helping to ensure a seamless experience for candidates, hiring managers, and employees.

Location: 100% on‑site in Buffalo, NY. The role is fully on‑site, encouraging employees to collaborate and connect in person five days a week.

Contract type: Temporary, estimated four‑month assignment.

Salary: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour for candidates located in Western New York.
