Job summary

ECI in Houston, TX is seeking a Systems Engineer to deliver end-user desktop support and server administration for Windows, Exchange, and Office 365 environments.

You will triage Level 1–2 incidents, perform patching, AD user management, and collaborate with MSP-style teams to resolve issues quickly while ensuring client satisfaction. Onsite daily work in Houston and occasional travel to client sites are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Windows 10/11.
• Strong Active Directory and Group Policy knowledge.
• Experience with VPN setup and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and hybrid cloud concepts.

Responsibilities

• Resolve Level 1–2 end-user issues and incidents.
• Perform system maintenance, patching, and upgrades.
• Manage Active Directory accounts, passwords, and group policies.
• Support Exchange Online and on-premises Exchange environments.
• Provide desktop and server administration for client issues.
• Collaborate with MSP-style teams and external vendors as needed.
