Job summary

Vallen Distribution is seeking a Supply Chain Services Associate to manage on-site inventory, vending and VMI functions at a customer location. The role collaborates with the Supply Chain Services Manager and account teams to maintain service standards and inventory accuracy.

You will support restocking, logging inventory activity, and addressing customer questions while staying current with the latest tools and best practices in inventory management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1+ year in inventory management or distribution.
• Experience with vending machines and VMI systems.
• Customer-focused and able to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Restock vending machines, VMI cabinets, and toolcribs to standard levels.
• Assist onsite customers with inventory or tool usage queries.
• Log and track inventory accurately per protocols.
• Monitor KPIs and coordinate with managers to meet goals.
• Prevent stockouts with proactive fills.
• Adhere to inventory protocols and report discrepancies.
• Collaborate with the Supply Chain Services Manager and Coordinator.
• Stay updated on inventory management tools and best practices.
