Job summary

PeakMade Real Estate is seeking a hands-on Property Manager to lead on-site operations for student housing properties. You will drive profitability by maximizing occupancy, income and NOI while mentoring high-performing teams.

The role requires financial savvy, industry knowledge, and creative leasing strategies to ensure the property's success. The position emphasizes full-time on-site leadership, budget development, rent collection oversight, and risk management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• 4+ years of property management experience.
• Two years of campus student housing management experience preferred.
• Proven ability across people management, financial reporting, problem-solving, sales and resident relations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of property management software; Entrata preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-site staff through recruitment, training and coaching.
• Conduct performance reviews, documentation and corrective action when needed.
• Oversee Turn process and move-ins.
• Monitor market conditions and leasing staff knowledge.
• Show, lease and move in prospective residents to maximize occupancy and income.
• Develop and implement sales and marketing plans to reach budgeted occupancy.
