Job summary

PeakMade Real Estate seeks a Property Manager to lead a student housing property, maximize occupancy and NOI, and provide a world-class living experience. You will manage staff, oversee leasing, and implement budgeting and marketing plans while ensuring resident satisfaction and financial performance.

The role requires strong financial acumen, campus housing experience, and leadership skills to drive revenue and cost control across operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• 4+ years of property management experience.
• 2 years campus student housing management experience preferred.
• Proven ability in financial reporting, budgeting and rent collections.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of property management software; Entrata highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage high quality on-site staff through recruitment, training, coaching and development programs.
• Document employee evaluations including performance reviews, corrective action reviews, and termination paperwork.
• Direct entire Turnover process per company policies and procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of market conditions; ensure leasing staff develop similar knowledge.
• Show, lease, and move in prospective residents; implement sales and marketing plans to maximize income.
• Achieve NOI through cost control and revenue improvement; develop budgets/forecasts and report to Regional Manager.
• Monitor rent collections and ensure compliance with statutes.
• Manage resident retention and service request follow-up; ensure maintenance responsiveness.
• Complete required reports; perform apartment inspections monthly and before move-in/move-out; manage risk.
