Translucent Services is hiring an Implementation Engineer to deliver on-site installation and upgrade services for data storage platforms. The role covers work within a 200-mile radius of San Jose, CA with regular US travel to customer sites and data centers.

You will collaborate with Support and Account teams to ensure successful project execution. The position requires strong storage, server, and networking skills; experience with VMware, Windows Server, and Linux; and the ability to create

Qualifications

• Strong storage, server, and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with hardware installation and software configuration.
• Ability to create run books, design workbooks, and statements of work.

Responsibilities

• Perform installations of FlashArray and FlashBlade products.
• Perform Non-Disruptive Upgrades (NDUs) on FlashArrays and FlashBlades.
• Work with Support and Advanced Services to ensure successful upgrades.
• Install expansion shelves, data packs, and related hardware.
• Plan travel to customer sites for installations and upgrades.
• Travel across the US to visit customer sites and data centers.
