Job summary

Translucent Services is seeking an Implementation Engineer to join our field services team. This full-time role will perform on-site installations and upgrades of data storage platforms for customers within a 200-mile radius of Orlando, FL, with regular US travel.

You will collaborate with Support and Account teams, perform NDUs on FlashArray/FlashBlade, install hardware, and plan customer-site visits. Strong communication and customer-facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong technical skills in storage, server, and networking.
• Experience with hardware installation and software configuration.
• Ability to create run books, design workbooks, and statements of work.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication.
• Consultancy experience and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform installations of FlashArray and FlashBlade products.
• Perform NDUs on FlashArrays and FlashBlades.
• Work with Support and Advanced Services teams to ensure upgrades.
• Install expansion shelves, data packs, expansion cards, and related hardware.
• Plan travel to customer sites for installations and upgrades.
• Provide basic knowledge transfer to customers.
