Job summary

Translucent Services is seeking an Implementation Engineer to deliver on-site installation and upgrade services for data storage platforms across the United States. The role focuses on executing NDUs, hardware installs, and capacity planning while collaborating with support and account teams.

This full-time position requires travel across the US, including frequent trips within 200 miles of Minneapolis, MN, with compensation between $50,000 and $60,000 per year and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Strong technical skills in storage, server, and networking technologies.
• Experience with hardware installation and software configuration.
• Experience creating a run book, design workbook, and statement of work.
• Ability to work as a team player and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Consultancy experience and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform installations of FlashArray and FlashBlade products.
• Perform non-disruptive upgrades (NDUs) on FlashArrays and FlashBlades.
• Collaborate with Support and Advanced Services to ensure upgrades succeed.
• Install expansion shelves, data packs, and related hardware.
• Plan travel to customer sites for installations and upgrades.
• Create run books, design workbooks, and statements of work for engagements.
