MSC Industrial Supply Co. is seeking an Onsite Solutions Specialist to support a major account at the customer facility in Butte, MT. The role focuses on excellent service during procurement, order placement, sourcing, and managing MSC ControlPoint Solutions to deliver client value.

You will collaborate with the account team to drive savings, participate in plant meetings and Lean initiatives, and ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Provide excellent customer service in order placement, quoting, sourcing, and logging cost savings statistics.
• Collaborate with account teams to identify opportunities and drive savings.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to assist in order placement, quoting, sourcing, and logging all available cost savings statistics.
• Manage MSC ControlPoint Solutions (Vendor Managed Inventory, Vending, Storeroom) and assist with ordering and optimization.
• Determine sourcing strategies with the Category Team to drive savings and improve operations.
• Participate in customer plant meetings and Lean/Six Sigma events.
• Collaborate with the account team to maximize satisfaction and revenue growth.
• Resolve on-site issues by offering sales-related solutions and consulting with suppliers.
