Qualifications

• A.A./A.S. or equivalent education with IT/AM exposure.
• 1 year of IT, ITAM, Field Support, or Service Desk experience.
• Basic understanding of software licensing concepts and IT asset management practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for data organization and reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite support for SAM/HAM overlapping projects including discovery reconciliation and license reclamation.
• Assist in software non-compliance remediation and device recovery efforts.
• Verify deployment, usage, license assignments, and device ownership for audits.
• Contribute to ServiceNow data and reporting by reconciling hardware records and license entitlements.
• Perform software discovery and data quality cleanup across multiple data sources.
• Support hardware refresh cycles with licensing impacts and reclamation workflows.
• Help mature SAM processes by identifying gaps and suggesting tooling improvements.
• Maintain SAM records and generate routine reports with discrepancy checks.
• Learn day-to-day SAM operations to cover licensing and lifecycle activities.
• Communicate with stakeholders and escalate needs through senior resources.
