Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Service Supervisor to lead the daily operations of our Bozrah, CT dewatering service center. This hands-on leadership role oversees shop, yard and field service, schedules staff, drives safety, and ensures efficient, high-quality service delivery.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in field service or related operations, strong OSHA knowledge, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Relocation not required; on-site work with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of experience in field service, rental operations, industrial service, or related operational environment.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience required.
• Strong knowledge of safety compliance including OSHA standards and investigations.
• Financial acumen with experience tracking labor, materials, equipment usage and costs preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP or service management system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day branch operations across shop, yard, and field service activities.
• Supervise and schedule branch personnel based on demand and certifications.
• Lead safety meetings, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Oversee work orders from scheduling through completion and document related records.
• Partner with sales and internal teams for forecasting and service execution.
• Monitor equipment staging, deployment, readiness, and utilization.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance management for staff.
