Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Service Supervisor to lead the daily operations of our Bozrah, CT dewatering service center. This hands-on leadership role oversees shop, yard and field service, schedules staff, drives safety, and ensures efficient, high-quality service delivery.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in field service or related operations, strong OSHA knowledge, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Relocation not required; on-site work with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of experience in field service, rental operations, industrial service, or related operational environment.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience required.
• Strong knowledge of safety compliance including OSHA standards and investigations.
• Financial acumen with experience tracking labor, materials, equipment usage and costs preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP or service management system experience preferred.

Lead safety meetings, support inspections, document hazards and near misses, and participate in incident investigations and corrective actions.* Oversee work orders from scheduling through completion and maintain accurate operational documentation related to transfers, purchase orders, receiving, installations, exchanges, returns, damages, and discrepancies.* Partner with sales and other internal teams to support forecasting, customer needs, branch planning, and service execution.* Participate in customer-facing activities such as job walks, scope reviews, and issue resolution. Monitor equipment staging, deployment, tracking, return, and readiness to maximize utilization and support operational efficiency.* Provide leadership, coaching, training, and accountability for branch employees. Support hiring, onboarding, development, and performance management activities.
