Job summary

MSC Industrial Supply Co. seeks an On-Site Service Specialist to deliver exceptional customer service and manage inventories at large customer locations. The role supports procurement, order placement, and MSC ControlPoint Solutions including VMI, vending, and crib systems.

The position requires coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, driving solution retention, and enabling growth through site engagement. Up to 10% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of experience in telephone sales, outside sales, storeroom/inventory management, or customer service.
• Knowledge of MSC solutions, products and services.

Responsibilities

• Manage MSC ControlPoint Solutions, including VMI, vending, and storeroom programs.
• Perform ordering, product put-away, and inventory optimization.
• Promote MSC customer loyalty through solution support and CARE program.
• Maintain 6S standards across all solution equipment and areas.
• Log daily activities in Salesforce (SFDC).
• Receive, unpack, and restock products at all points of use.
