Job summary

Edwards Vacuum is seeking an Onsite Service Engineer to support customers in Boise, ID. You will perform expert repair, installation, and service activities to maximize equipment uptime and safety on-site.

Responsibilities include visiting sites, diagnosing and fixing issues, documenting work, and delivering practical recommendations. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in a technical field, a high school diploma or AS degree, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant technical field experience (electronic, mechanical, chemical, gas, refrigeration or basic vacuum) preferred.
• High school diploma or AS degree preferred; military equivalent acceptable.
• Ability to read technical drawings and interpret documentation.
• Fluent written and spoken English; strong customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Site Manager and act as the on-site customer contact for Edwards Vacuum.
• Conduct planned and ad hoc site visits to inspect, service, troubleshoot and repair systems; diagnose issues to prevent downtime.
• Perform installations, ensure safety compliance, and document all activities.
• Provide service recommendations and address customer needs promptly.
