Job summary

Edwards Vacuum is seeking an Onsite Service Engineer to deliver expert repair services for our technology solutions at customer sites, ensuring uptime, safety, and performance while upholding the highest standards.

You will report to the Site Manager, conduct planned and ad-hoc visits to inspect, service, and repair systems, perform installations, document activities, and provide on-site recommendations to meet customer timelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; Associate’s Degree preferred or full military equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in electronic, mechanical, chemical, gas, refrigeration or basic vacuum, ideally with customer-facing experience.
• Fluency in written and spoken English; able to read/write clearly.
• Ability to use computer software to record data and write reports.
• Ability to understand and interpret technical documentation.

You Will

To Succeed, You Will Need

Education Level

• High School Diploma.
• Preferred: an Associate’s Degree (full military equivalent may substitute).

Relevant Experience

• 1–3 years of equivalent experience in a relevant technical field such as electronic, mechanical, chemical, gas, refrigeration, or basic vacuum, ideally with customer‑facing experience.

• Strong customer focus to ensure solutions meet expectations and timelines, aligned with company strategies and processes.
• Self‑directed, with the ability to understand and resolve problems within job responsibilities and to escalates through appropriate channels when required.

• Ability to share technical expertise and knowledge and provide coaching to less experienced team members.
