Collins Aerospace in Largo, FL is seeking a Production Control Professional to work onsite. You will manage factory supply and demand, drive MRP schedules, analyze material availability, communicate priorities, and overcome obstacles to meet program goals.

You will collaborate in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) with cross-functional groups, ensuring material status updates and timely action. The role requires a university degree with 2+ years of relevant experience, the ability to obtain a U.S.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required; U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Experience in material planning, order execution, and program management.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and coordinate program requirements to ensure controlled flow of materials and services to meet customer requirements.
• Analyze material availability in support of contract requirements, communicate factory priorities, identify barriers and solutions to achieve program goals.
• Provide status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure materials are available as needed.
• Confirm material supply and demands following Leader Standard Work daily.
• Release planned requisitions or shop orders based on master production schedule, shop load, and inventory availability.
• Work with program support staff to resolve material shortages and other issues impacting product build.
• Report on and troubleshoot MRP system generated exceptions and take corrective action on unfavorable trends.
• Perform hardware cycle counts and ensure subassemblies are available at POU on the production line.
• Schedule, expedite, and facilitate movement of production material and deliverables with Logistics, Engineering, etc.
• Coordinate with quality, manufacturing engineering and other groups to process non-compliant material timely.
