Job summary

RTX’s SE&TC Surface Radars & Sensors Center in Moorestown, NJ, seeks a Senior Principal Systems Engineer to lead I&T planning, lab scheduling, and cross-group coordination. You will ensure safety, compliance, and delivery of program objectives with a focus on systems integration and verification.

The role requires a STEM degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience, prior site leadership, and Navy program exposure.

Qualifications

• Must have STEM degree and 10+ years relevant experience.
• Experience with technical and/or functional leadership.
• Experience with systems engineering, system integration, system verification, and/or system test.
• Experience with US Navy programs.
• Site lead experience including personnel management and technical team leadership.
• Experience with naval radar programs.
• Experience with external contractors.
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Subject matter expertise with systems integration, verification, and validation.

Responsibilities

• Represent Raytheon as onsite lead and align the team to program goals.
• Regularly interact with internal and external customers and partners.
• Respond to and report on issues and requests both within program and from customers and partners.
• Plan for and communicate site needs to various stakeholders.
• Coordinate efforts for all Raytheon resources at site, including: lab scheduling, I&T plan execution, resource training and site access.
• Ensure safety and maintenance activities are completed and documented, including defect tracking and resolution.
• Interface with site facilities to coordinate any support needed.
