Job summary

RTX is seeking a Section Leader in the Naval Systems Department to lead a team of engineers in the SI&T discipline. You will establish measurable goals, manage performance, and support staffing and program initiatives. The role can be based in multiple MA locations with travel up to 10%.

Required is a STEM degree with 8+ years of relevant experience in system, software, integration, and/or test, plus strong communication and leadership abilities to drive collaboration and excellence.

• Experience in system, software, integration, and/or test.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; prior team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers and establish meaningful goals.
• Oversee direct line management, performance, and career development.
• Support department and directorate initiatives and policy adherence.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and resolve personnel issues.
• Provide mentorship and actively participate in staffing and staffing decisions.
• Contribute as technical lead or individual contributor; ~10% of time.
