Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Sr. HR Business Partner at our Kalamazoo site to translate business priorities into people strategies and operational plans.

This onsite role partners with site leaders to advance workforce planning, engagement, and performance initiatives. You bring at least six years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment, with strengths in employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, HRIS, and analytics.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing environment
• Bachelor degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
• HR certification (PHR, SHRM CP) or progress toward advanced credentials preferred
• Experience with HRIS and Excel reporting/analytics basics
• Strong communication, facilitation, and training skills
• Experience with people analytics or advanced reporting tools like Power BI

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR partner to assigned business leaders, translating priorities into people strategies and plans
• Oversee day-to-day HR operations including employee relations case management and coaching managers
• Support talent acquisition and onboarding efforts and collaborate with recruiting to reduce time-to-fill
• Drive performance management processes and succession planning
• Contribute to workforce planning and present HR metrics to leadership to inform decisions
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to foster Parker's culture and employee engagement
