Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking an HR Leader to provide strategic and hands-on HR leadership across multiple operating sites. The role partners with site leaders and labor groups to drive organizational effectiveness, talent development, workforce planning, and compliance, including union relations and contract administration.

The position requires experience in manufacturing environments, strong labor relations skills, and travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, labor relations or related field.
• 5+ years HR experience in manufacturing or industrial operations.
• Experience supporting multiple sites or geographically dispersed teams.
• Strong labor relations experience with unionized employees and CBAs.
• Experience handling employee investigations, grievances and performance concerns.
• Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO, NLRA and related labor requirements.
• Ability to influence and partner with leaders at all levels.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution and decision-making skills.
• Willingness to travel between assigned sites.
• Experience in both union and non-union locations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic HR business partner to site leaders across multiple locations.
• Lead HR activities across sites, ensuring policy consistency and compliance.
• Provide leadership on labor relations matters, including CBA interpretation and administration.
• Manage union activities: grievances, investigations, arbitration prep and contract administration.
• Partner with leadership to develop positive employee and labor relations strategies.
• Advise managers on performance management, corrective action and workforce planning.
• Lead talent acquisition, onboarding, succession planning and leadership development.
• Support employee engagement activities aligned with company values and safety culture.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, policies, and HR best practices.
• Analyze HR metrics to identify risks and opportunities and drive action plans.
• Support change management during transformation, restructuring, or growth.
• Collaborate with corporate HR and Centers of Excellence to standardize HR programs.
