Job summary

Aptar Italia S.P.A. seeks an onsite Human Resources Business Partner for our Midland, MI manufacturing facility. You will partner with site leadership and frontline teams to align people strategies with business priorities, strengthen employee engagement, and advance workforce planning.

This role requires a strong background in employee relations, organizational design, and change management, with the ability to influence leaders through data and practical HR solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in an HRBP, HR Manager, or senior generalist role within manufacturing or operations.
• Experience supporting onsite hourly and salaried workforces across multiple shifts.
• Strong employee relations experience with coaching leaders and resolving workplace concerns.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the onsite HRBP and trusted advisor to site leadership, managers, supervisors, and employees across the manufacturing operation.
• Translate business priorities into practical people strategies that support safety, quality, productivity, retention, and employee experience.
• Lead and support employee engagement initiatives, including listening sessions, focus groups, and action planning tied to feedback.
• Provide proactive employee relations support by coaching leaders, conducting investigations, supporting corrective action, and building trust.
• Maintain a strong shop floor presence to understand workforce needs and provide timely HR support across shifts.
• Drive strategic workforce planning for the site, including headcount forecasting, succession planning, and retention planning.
