AptarGroup, Inc. in Midland, MI is seeking an onsite Human Resources Business Partner to partner with site leadership and frontline teams, aligning people strategies with business priorities and driving employee engagement and workforce planning.

This role requires eight plus years of HR experience in manufacturing, strong employee relations, and the ability to coach leaders, resolve issues, and ensure HR practices comply with laws and Aptar values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
• 8+ years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or operations.
• Experience partnering with site leadership and frontline teams.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance.
• Experience with HR metrics and workforce planning is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the onsite HR Business Partner and trusted advisor to site leadership, managers, supervisors, and employees across the manufacturing operation.
• Translate business priorities into practical people strategies that support safety, quality, productivity, retention, and employee experience.
• Lead employee engagement initiatives, including listening sessions, focus groups, and action planning tied to feedback.
• Provide proactive employee relations support by coaching leaders, resolving workplace concerns, investigations, and corrective action.
• Drive strategic workforce planning for headcount forecasting, skills gap analysis, succession planning, and retention planning.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, Total Rewards, HR Operations, and regional/global HR teams to deliver solutions.
• Support onboarding, new hire integration, development planning, and retention strategies for hourly, technical, professional, and leadership roles.
• Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws, company policies, local practices, and HR processes.
• Champion Aptar culture and core values by promoting openness, accountability, inclusion, teamwork, trust, and ethical decision-making.
