The role focuses on managing all accounting functions for homeowners and condominium associations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls, with a path to lead audits and engage with executives. Requirements include 5–7 years of accounting experience, CPA preferred, and proficiency with Excel and industry software.

Formación

• 5–7 years of accounting experience, including 3+ years in community association management, property management, or real estate.
• Experience with accrual-based accounting.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, SUM/IF statements, VLOOKUPs).
• Experience with community association accounting software (TOPS, CINC, Vantaca, AppFolio).
• Experience supervising accounting staff (direct or indirect).
• Strong communication of financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Florida Statutes 718, 720, and industry best practices.
• High level of confidentiality, discretion, integrity, and professionalism.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent experience.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee all accounting functions for homeowners’ and condominium associations, ensuring accurate AP/AR processing, compliant financial reporting, and adherence to state statutes.
• Lead the month-end close process, prepare and review financial statements, and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard association funds.
• Serve as a key financial partner to cross-functional partners, board members, auditors, and executives, supporting annual audits and regulatory requirements.
• Provide leadership to accounting staff and help drive process improvements and system enhancements.
