Job summary

Atrium is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations for managed communities across multiple states. The role covers payables, receivables, monthly reporting, and internal controls, serving as a financial partner to managers, boards, auditors, and leadership.

Ideal candidates have 6–10 years of accounting experience, preferably in property or real estate accounting, with strong Excel skills and a Bachelor’s in accounting or finance.

Qualifications

• Accrual accounting and monthly financial statements.
• Experience managing multiple entities/accounts.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payables and receivables for managed communities across entities.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements with timely month-end close.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and strong internal controls.
• Serve as financial resource for property managers, boards, auditors, and leadership.
• Train and mentor accounting staff and improve processes and policies.
