Job summary

Turner’s Outdoorsman is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee daily cash management, accounts payable, and sales audit activities. The role requires leadership of the accounting team, strong internal controls, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and ensure policy compliance.

The position is based at the Rialto, California office with onsite attendance five days per week. Experience in retail accounting and ADP payroll is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance required.
• Solid understanding of accruals and revenue recognition.
• Experience with ADP payroll is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive leadership.
• Proficiency in Great Plains accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Daily cash reconciliation and match with POS deposits.
• Prepare weekly cash flow report for management.
• Oversee AP and Sales Audit departments.
• Manage banking relationships and fund movements.
• Prepare and enter monthly journal entries for cash.
• Coordinate payroll liaison and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory filings.
• Oversee year-end tax and 1099 processes.
