Turner & Townsend in Atlanta is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant, reporting to the Senior Manager Accounting. In-office presence is required two to three days per week, with responsibilities spanning monthly and quarterly reporting for internal stakeholders.

The candidate should have five years in corporate accounting, strong US GAAP knowledge, and a CPA or active pursuit. This role supports audits, reconciliations and process improvements.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• Five years’ post-graduate experience in a corporate accounting function mandatory.
• Experience in publicly traded company or UK reporting to UK parent a plus.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP Standards.
• CPA or working toward certification a plus.

Aufgaben

• Assist with development and documentation of processes to strengthen internal controls.
• Record and reconcile journal entries, cash clearing, GL accounts.
• Support SOX testing and provide documentation for compliance.
• Manage AR, AP, prepaid expenses, fixed assets and other GL accounts.
• Ensure timely recording of monthly rent/lease and quarterly property taxes.
• Support financial statement preparation including consolidation and intercompany reconciliation.
• Support external audits with timely information.
• Lead process improvements within accounting and system upgrades.
• Resolve reconciling items and communicate with internal processors.
