Job summary
Yoh is seeking an Engineering Technician for an onsite, 18-month contract in Austin, TX. You will perform testing and maintenance on Ion Implanters and RF Plasma Systems while supporting engineers in R&D and production environments.
The role requires an associate degree or technical certification, 2–4 years of related experience, and strong troubleshooting with clear documentation. Note: on-site shifts with a competitive pay structure and benefits package are provided.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical certification in electronics, robotics, or related field.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in reading schematics and technical manuals.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Adherence to safety protocols and flexibility with shifts.
Responsibilities
- Perform testing and maintenance on Ion Implanters and RF Plasma Systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions.
- Support engineers and scientists in R&D and production environments.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and document activities.
- Assist in setup and qualification of new semiconductor equipment.
