Job summary
Yoh is seeking an Engineering Technician for an onsite, 18-month contract in Austrin, TX. The role involves testing and maintenance of Ion Implanters and RF Plasma Systems, with strong focus on troubleshooting and documentation.
The incumbent will support engineers and scientists in R&D and production settings, perform preventive maintenance, and assist in setup/qualification of semiconductor equipment. Requires an associate degree or technical cert and 2–4 years' experience.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical certification in electronics, robotics, or related field
- 2–4 years of relevant experience
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in reading schematics and technical manuals
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
- Adherence to safety protocols and flexibility with shifts
Responsibilities
- Perform testing and maintenance on Ion Implanters and RF Plasma Systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions
- Support engineers and scientists in R&D and production environments
