Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, is seeking a motivated Engineering Technician to join the team in Austin, TX. This 18‑month contract supports testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and qualification of advanced semiconductor equipment in R&D and production environments.

The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of relevant experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to read electrical schematics. On-site role with shift flexibility and a $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of relevant technical or engineering support experience.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams and tech docs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to safety and operational excellence.
• Flexibility to support varying schedules or shifts.

Responsibilities

• Test, maintain and repair Ion Implanters and RF plasma systems.
• Diagnose malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Support R&D and manufacturing operations with engineers and scientists.
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep service docs up to date.
• Assist with installation, setup and qualification of new equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and operational guidelines.
