Job summary

Yoh is seeking an Engineering Technician in Austin, TX to support testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and qualification of advanced semiconductor equipment in both research and production environments.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of relevant technical experience and an associate degree or technical certification, with strong problem-solving and communication skills. This onsite role offers 18-month contract terms with shift differentials and sign-on bonuses after milestone completions.

Qualifications

Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent training in Electronics, Robotics, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
2 to 4 years of relevant technical or engineering support experience.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence.
Flexibility to support varying schedules or shifts as business needs require.

Responsibilities

Perform testing, maintenance, and repair of Ion Implanters and RF Plasma Systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
Support engineers and scientists in both R&D and manufacturing operations.
Conduct preventive maintenance and maintain accurate service documentation.
Assist with the installation, setup, and qualification of new semiconductor equipment.
Follow established safety procedures and operational guidelines.
