Job summary

Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, is seeking an Engineering Technician for on-site work in Austin, TX. The position is an 18-month contract with a potential hire, paying $25.00 to $26.50 per hour.

You will test and maintain ion implanters and RF plasma systems, assist engineers, and perform preventive maintenance while documenting activities. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is offered along with staged bonuses after 90 and 180 days.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in electronics, robotics, or related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in reading schematics and technical manuals.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Flexible with shifts and safety protocols.

Job description

Position: Engineering Technician
Location: Austin, TX (onsite)
Type: 18-month contract possible hire
Pay: $25 to $26.50 per hour
Swing Shift and Weekend Days: Additional 10% differential per hour
Weekend Swing: Additional 18% differential per hour
$1500 sign on bonus
Bonus payout structure:
$500 after successful completion of 90 days
$1,000 after successful completion of 180 days
