Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, is seeking an Engineering Technician to join our Austin, TX team on an 18-month contract with potential for direct hire. The role focuses on testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and qualification of advanced semiconductor equipment in R&D and production settings.

Ideal candidates have strong technical troubleshooting skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• Associate degree or technical certification or equivalent training in Electronics or related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant technical or engineering support experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, diagrams and technical documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence.

Responsabilidades

• Perform testing, maintenance and repair of Ion Implanters and RF Plasma Systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Support engineers and scientists in R&D and manufacturing operations.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and maintain service documentation.
• Assist with installation, setup and qualification of new semiconductor equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and operational guidelines.
