Yoh is seeking a motivated Engineering Technician to join our team in Austin, TX. The role supports testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and qualification of advanced semiconductor equipment in both research and production environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting. The position offers an 18-month contract with potential for direct hire, onsite in Austin, TX, with some shift flexibility.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics, Robotics, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• 2–4 years of technical or engineering support experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence.
• Flexibility to support varying schedules or shifts as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Test, maintain, and repair Ion Implanters and RF Plasma Systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Support engineers and scientists in R&D and manufacturing operations.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and maintain service documentation.
• Assist with installation, setup, and qualification of new semiconductor equipment.
• Follow established safety procedures and operational guidelines.
